    Halloween

May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

Last night I had 3 groups of kids come and I told them we had apples. I just really really wanted to see the look of utter disappointment on their faces!

It rained most of the day so the crowd was lighter than the last few years. Probably only about 300 kids.

We did pass out all the candy (minus my personal stash), though.

Djharkavy had the most evilest idea, which is to give the children tinfoil wrapped, chocolate covered Brussels sprouts.

    LOL!
Leftists have unquestionably demonstrated their hatred for due process, and Democrats have undeniably obstructed justice for, and thoroughly victim-shamed and smeared, Karen Monahan.
