I just noticed this again, Tom, and I have to say it sounds naive, as if you've never heard or read the spiel of the real thing, a white supremacist. It sounds like you're buying the towering indignation of the author here at face value.

"Make America White Again" is the latest greatest Democratic talking point, voiced by Nancy Pelosi herself. It's got a lethal dose of venom still left in it, they hope, despite the worn out impotence of the race card generally these days. It is the Democrats' defense of open borders: to oppose it is racist.

The author makes no direct quotes from Carlson's "astoundingly racist rant about Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar on Tuesday night" that support that description, and I'm sure that if he could he surely would have done so.
"We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." —CNN's Don Lemon, showing how to stop demonizing people.

Frequently those accusing someone of full frontal white supremacy is generally a far left socialist with no evidence. Sometimes alcohol is involved. At least that’s what I’ve noticed on this board.

He does, but how would you know?

I don't disagree with this assessment.

Where does she live? Oh, yeah in an enclave of other religious nuts from Africa, just like her self.
Is she a citizen? Then this is her country as much as it yours or mine.

Dude, I live in Alabama. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a white supremacist here. Especially since Trump got elected, they don't even hide their feelings anymore.

Carlson speaks in the same circular, in-joke type references that you find on Stormfront or any other dark corner of the whitest parts of the web. Having to read between the lines gives them an out because everything is "open for interpretation" which allows people like you who are clearly not racists to defend racist and bigoted rhetoric because it's not explicit.

The actual answer is that when "I just noticed this again...." I read it through.

Sure Carlson said things. If they are accurate, it doesn't make him a sexist, or a Muslim hater.

You'll note the lack of the usual suspects on here jumping to the defense of a fellow conservative, because I think even the rage-gasm right wingers realize he's a bit crazy with his views.

I've seen enough of his ranting on Twitter and YouTube — in context — to know that this article is exactly right in that he views outsiders as "the other" and less than human. He and Trump are normalizing this sort of language, and the fact that people are quiet about it on the right speaks volumes about the intents behind the political beliefs, IMHO.

The difference between Carlson and that Muslim broad is she criticizes because this is her country and she wants to make it better. Carlson criticizes because he wants to repress and oppress. To acknowledge the brown people as equals means losing the white man's grip on power, and (far too many) conservatives are livid at the very concept.

Bullshit. It is possible racism to talk down a group of people. To target those in power and point out their faults is not.

Thats the problem Tom. "Read between the lines" means you can believe something that wasn't said. You are doing it right now.

Norm claimed that the gay photographer that was attacked wasn't attacked because he was gay. Why can't a conservative make the same claim?

No one here likes you, and yet you stick around. Why?

Because you are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.
