Too late. You declared yourself part of "we". Nobody mentioned you. You included yourself.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Yes "we" as in "we to the right of you and Bok."

    You're pretty dense.

    A bombshell, if true!!

Schiff Now Claims He Doesn't Know Whistleblower's Identity

Maybe he kept his eyes closed whenever they talked.

    I doubt it.
"The way I see it, there's always, c'mon, there's always money. It's there." —Elizabeth Warren, explaining socialism.

“The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.... We really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” —Saikat Chakrabarti, then AOC's Chief of Staff.

"We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." —CNN's Don Lemon, showing how to stop demonizing people.

"What is objectionable, what is dangerous about extremists is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents.” ―Robert F. Kennedy.

The key seems to be, in our world of media saturation, never back down.

Bill Clinton got it when he advised a novice liar, "Deny, deny, deny." Stacey Abrams gets it. She hasn't conceded the governor's race she lost when, a year ago? She just re-defines the meaning of the word "lost."

OK, then there's Hillary, the Queen of Denial, but that's a ward of the asylum all to itself.

Schiff will never back down, perhaps counting on a Machiavellian exoneration in the style of liar Harry Reid, who excused his own slanderous lie about Romney, asking rhetorically, "He didn't win, did he?"

The media never backs down. None of the perfervid media to my knowledge has confessed that the Russia collusion scandal was a fraud.

Pelosi can never back down; if she does she will be devoured alive. I think Mark may be right, though, that she may eventually decline to push through an actual impeachment bill ("at this time," she'll say).

That's probably as close as she'll come to saying, "Rep. Schiff-for-Brains is a liar and a California Democrat, but I repeat myself." Can that be true? I'll rhetorical puzzlers take that one on.

You selectively believe the WaPo fact checker when it's convenient for you and deem them unreliable when it isn't.

This is from the article you linked:

Notice how Schiff quickly answered whether he knew the identity of the whistleblower — “I don’t know” — but then sidestepped the questions about whether the committee had been contacted. But in doing so, he managed not to mislead; he just simply did not answer the question.
His claim not to know the whistleblower's identity is not what they found false. It was his claim that "We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower" they found false. That is based on reporting by the NYT and WaPo (who you believe when it's convenient) that "the whistleblower approached a House Intelligence Committee staff member for guidance before filing a complaint with the Intelligence Community inspector general."

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I doubt his own mother believes he doesn't know who the so-called whistleblower is.

But, just out of curiosity, if he does NOT know, why should he care if someone conjectures about the gossip's identity? I suppose he could gavel down someone for chuckles, but he'd just be guessing himself.

Maybe the whistleblower is Robert Mueller. Maybe Eric Ciaramella is just a sad sack who lives with his mother.

    Schiff doesn't know.

I've been consistent on WaPo - I cited their 2013 Lie of the Year many times.
