Why do you always ignore who and what was quoted when you respond to a post?

In post #8, you responded to Billy's post #7. But now you seem to have zero awareness of who and what Billy was responding to in that post.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

    You didn't know that?...huh.

Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

My sentence, "If that matters, you should let her know," her was meant to refer to Pelosi, not Michele. I didn't think it was unclear, but I guess it was.

    Life goes on.
"The way I see it, there's always, c'mon, there's always money. It's there." —Elizabeth Warren, explaining socialism.

“The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.... We really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” —Saikat Chakrabarti, then AOC's Chief of Staff.

"We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." —CNN's Don Lemon, showing how to stop demonizing people.

"What is objectionable, what is dangerous about extremists is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents.” ―Robert F. Kennedy.
