Panic ordering during a time of crisis

Sooo....apparently I panic ordered a few things over the last couple of weeks in preparation for scarcity of some essentials. We won't get into the various food groups this included. But today I am the proud owner of 8 bottles of bleach. I don't really remember ordering this, but it sounds like something I would do. I expect to do some serious Spring cleaning around the office over the next couple of weeks.

    Anybody else panic order?

No, but I did order my usual two cases of flavored water, in this case from an Amazon third party seller. I got delivered two cases of kids juice boxes.

Well, that is technically flavored water!

So I just checked my amazon account. I did indeed order the bleach. And now it's marked as "unavailable and unknown when or if it will become available again". Looks like it was a smart move. Anybody have any laundry you need me to do?

My buddy and I bought 7 cases of beer - each the morning the bars were closed. We figured there'd be a run on beer. There was, but we had plenty to share last weekend. We still have a bunch left which is fine.

I just did the same thing today. We have garage night on Fridays, and I expect the usual 3 or 4 people to be here. Just like last week, we practiced social distancing. We should be good.

No, but I'm seriously pissed that Target is apparently redirecting their warehouse stock to the shelves and panic-hoarders instead of giving priority to people who use their subscription online service.

We receive regular deliveries of toilet paper, paper towels, HRH's OTC medication, unsalted green beans for the dogs, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, hair care products, bath products, and contact lens care products.

So far, Amazon seems to be holding up their end with the coffee and dog food.

What does she mean by excess? But yeah, I get it. No hoarding in a time of crisis. In my defense, I also think I misread what I was buying. When I checked, I realized that the "product" was 2 bottles. There's no reason I would have wanted to order 8 bottles, but 4...sure!
