The campaign after the lockdowns are lifted

Trump is holding his first rally since the lockdowns were imposed. It’s to be in Tulsa, OK, June 20. Gateway Pundit (Cristina Laila) is reporting that over 800,000 people have requested tickets. (I’m sure the vast majority would’ve skipped the event had the campaign stuck to the original Juneteenth date. One can only celebrate one thing at a time, I guess.)

Meanwhile the excuse Joe Biden has for staying in the basement is evaporating. Kristin Tate writes about it in The Hill. His manifest weaknesses have been masked as much as possible, but a reckoning is coming—put up or shut up.

If Joe could draw one tenth that number he’d be out and about, likely . Hell. He’d be out and about if he could draw one hundredth that number, 8,000 people.

I think it would almost be worth hiring enough people to fill Yankee Stadium just to let Joe hold forth on his own for a solid hour or so. Live TV would have stellar ratings I bet.
    • “Weakness is refusing to take responsibility for your own actions, weakness is pointing your finger at someone else in a time of crisis." — Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, blaming Trump.
    • "We hold these truths to be self evident. All men and women created by the, you know, you know, the thing." —Joe Biden, explaining the Creator.
    • "The way I see it, there's always, c'mon, there's always money. It's there." —Elizabeth Warren, explaining socialism.
    • “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.... We really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” —Saikat Chakrabarti, then AOC's Chief of Staff.
    • "We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." —CNN's Don Lemon, showing how to stop demonizing people.

Actually, about 62,000. Proportionate generally to the overall percentage of the US population that is black.

The rallies are good publicity for Trump but I can't imagine that too many fence-sitters ever attend them. It's probably the same for Democrats.

If you're interested in what candidates say (as opposed to simply showing up as a fan) you can get that from You Tube easily enough.
    "Alexa, slaughter the fatted calf."
