I'll eat most anything animal or fish but black bear stew (or whatever it was) was a bridge too for me. They describe bear as "greasy". Maybe it is. It's basically slimy - like animal okra or something, plus it smelled bad.

Loved that sausage! I should ask my friend how she did it.

As long as she cooked it past 160 degrees.

Well, I guess you do in a cast iron skillet (which is how we had it).

Do bears have worms or something? I'm just not a fan.

Elk or goat on the other hand, quail, doves, pheasant, ducks, those stupid ptarmigan (frankly, they deserve to die), I'll eat all that.

Antelope is not all it's cracked up to be either. You'd be better off with a fat whitetail.

Bear have about a 100% chance of carrying Trichinosis.

Love Pronghorn and should be hunting them and Mule Deer in Wyoming in October. Draw results come out this week

I believe it. Look at what those things eat.

That's where I've got them. Really, are they worth it? Mulies, though - that's good eating. You want to age it but that's true of any venison.

    Where are you going?

    Excellent.

That's where I've gone except one time. My brother's place or other friends and family. Beats deer camp.

Joyce and our friend only drew Antelope. I drew Antelope and Mule Deer. Hilarious since Joyce is ALWAYS the one that draws more than me.
