    It is big news.

The far left hate Israel and the "Zionists," of course, so they will condemn it as far as they care. Omar and Talieb, for example support the BDS anti-Israel movement. The rest of the Democrats are afraid to say anything. My guess is it will be ignored.

Besides, talking about it would interrupt their coverage of Kamala Harris walking on water.

    Film at eleven.

Oh great...another Nobel Peace Prize for Obama for doing nothing.
May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

Just to clear (more so than the tweet above), the UAE and Israel are establishing "full diplomatic relations."
The president, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed released a joint statement Thursday, after the three spoke “and agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.” The statement said that the “diplomatic breakthrough” was at “the request of President Trump,” and that Israel will “suspend declaring sovereignty over areas outlined in the President’s Vision for Peace and focus its efforts now on expanding ties with other countries in the Arab and Muslim world.”

Maybe this one can go to Biden, who famously asked, "Is rail what? Better than buses? C'mon, man, Trailways is the best. And that's no malarky!"

    I paraphrase from memory.

Excellent news and a huge step. The UAE is emerging as the leader in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia's influence has been waning for awhile.

Not a peep out of Iran either. Remember when Trump was going to cause WWIII? Good times.
"What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer."

    Time will tell.

It was broadly hinted that other agreements were in the offing, and I think this one qualifies:

Trump oversees economic deal that includes Kosovo recognizing Israel, Serbia moving embassy to Jerusalem
President Trump on Friday oversaw the signing of an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo that normalizes economic relations between the two countries — and also includes Kosovo recognizing Israel, and Serbia agreeing to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

The Belgrade-Pristina deal was signed by their two leaders –* Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo's Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti –* in front of Trump in the Oval Office, with Trump describing it as a "major breakthrough."

“Truly, it is historic,” Trump said. “I look forward to going to both countries in the not too distant future.”

The deal came just weeks after Trump announced an agreement had been reached between the United Arab Emirates and Israel on opening up relations between the two countries.
This is a very big deal, too, and shows, among other things, that the breakthrough with the UAE wasn't a one-off, but a piece of a larger new paradigm.

This is very much the stuff of Nobel prizes and broad coverage.

But the American media is in full Orange Man Bad mode, and the story has been widely ignored. Meanwhile I saw a funny headline:

Why Americans in Israel must vote for Trump
. . . Now, after four wonderful years of making both America and Israel great again, President Trump’s actions speak even louder than his words, which is saying a lot.
Jewish Americans, of course, will continue to vote for Democrats, because
