    Horrifying thought...

Biden wins the election and the Democrat(ics) retain the House.
After the election, but prior to the EC votes being cast, Biden withdraws due to whatever issues.
Since he is not officially the President, Harris is just a bystander as the Constitution succession may not apply. The 12th and 25th are a little murky on this.
3rd in line to the Red Phone is Crazy Nancy. She would be Prez beginning Inauguration Day until the Democrat(ic) controlled House chuses a President.
The new President chuses a VP, which must be approved by both Houses of Congress, not the electorate.

Crazy Nan nominates herself and her Democrat(ic) sycophant fall in line.

    Impossible, you say?

Think about it. Nan and Chucky and the gang have a perfect path to select the president they want.
Nobody who has seen Biden lately outside his bunker can believe that the Democrat(ic) machine will allow him to actually create policy.
    We are so fucked.

It's an unsettling possibility, and I don't agree that Harris would be roadkill. She didn't accidentally on purpose mention the coming "Harris administration" without forethought.

But events are likely overtaking even these malevolent game plans.

I'm reading a brace of columns this morning that suggest Biden's dementia is progressing too fast to be masked through November. The enabling media is having an impossible time covering it up, and on top of everything else the American electorate isn't ready to rally around a nice guy who's at the end-of-life stages of senility. The Herculean schedule Donald Trump is mounting is nothing if not a glaring spotlight on the failing physical health of his opponent.

    From Andrea Widburg:
By now, it’s the worst kept secret in the world that Joe Biden is having cognitive difficulties. He’s tethered to a teleprompter, fed only pre-approved questions, and speaks in short increments to friendly audiences. Rumors are floating about that his dementia is quite advanced. Rush Limbaugh came up with a theory that suggests that those rumors are correct.
Limbaugh suggested the Joe is "sundowning," which I caught briefly on the radio, but I don't know if Rush went into it. Ms Widburg does:
Rush Limbaugh, however, has noticed another piece in the puzzle, and this one yields to empirical evidence rather than first-hand knowledge. This is the fact that, other than the long-ago Democrat debates and his acceptance speech (which may have been live, rather than prerecorded), Biden is never seen at night. In that regard, he is the “un-vampire.”

Indeed, most of Biden’s appearances are early in the day. He may do this because he tires easily and, by afternoon, is running on empty. Rush, though, posits that Biden may be suffering from sundowning, something strongly associated with dementia in the elderly, especially with Alzheimer’s. Sundowning is so named because it consistently appears as the sun is setting.

I’ve seen this first-hand with both my parents, neither of whom had Alzheimer’s, but both of whom sundowned badly as they developed age-related dementia. What I learned was that, for the people sundowning, the illusions are real. These are not nightmares from which they can awaken. You cannot “snap” them out of it. They cannot be perked up and trotted out with a little medicine. While sufferers are sundowning, they’re gone.
More people are speculating that Biden's "good days" are getting more limited.

I'm thinking he can't make it to November.

    Then what?

    • “Weakness is refusing to take responsibility for your own actions, weakness is pointing your finger at someone else in a time of crisis." — Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, blaming Trump.
    • "We hold these truths to be self evident. All men and women created by the, you know, you know, the thing." —Joe Biden, explaining the Creator.
    • "The way I see it, there's always, c'mon, there's always money. It's there." —Elizabeth Warren, explaining socialism.
    • “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.... We really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” —Saikat Chakrabarti, then AOC's Chief of Staff.
    • "We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." —CNN's Don Lemon, showing how to stop demonizing people.

Biden spoke at an event last night. In Florida.

“There was a Marine veteran that had been deployed a total of six times… Dodge Ram started down the street in front of his house. .. [He] saw a woman walking her dog, ran over her, killed her, killed the dog, put her in the back of his pickup truck… molested her … came home … and called the state police and said, ‘I just killed someone,'” Biden said in Tampa on Tuesday.

“There was a voice in my head saying, ‘I have to kill someone,’” he added.

Biden then said, “We have to end the stigma surrounding mental health treatment.”

“It’s the worst thing I’ve ever heard a presidential candidate say about men and women serving,” Jones said reacting to Biden’s story.

“These men and women may lose their will to live, but they don’t lose their soul,” Jones went on to say. “They may hurt themselves, but they don’t go hurting others. It’s very rare, and for him [Biden] to tell that story just because he thought it had some shock value and somehow likened himself to this issue just shows how out of touch he is.”

Biden also dumped the Jeffrey Goldberg/Atlantic lie on his audience of veterans.

I suppose he meant to show them that he, Biden, loves the vets, unlike Trump. I suspect the vets know he's pimping a lie.
